Top 5 PA Session Locations

Have you ever racked your brain over where to hold your photo shoot? Well my friend, fear no more! I’ve put together this list of FREE (yes, many locations do require special permits costing $$) picturesque locations I love to shoot at. While I’ll always recommend a location that holds meaning to you or is somewhere you frequent with your S/O, family, etc., if nothing comes to mind, be sure you won’t go wrong with a choice from the following list.

  • Lehigh Parkway [Allentown, PA]- Many of my past clients can attest to the beauty and versatility of this location. Boasting a huge stone wall with steps on each side, a long, flowing stream with numerous bridges crossing it, a red covered bridge, rolling hills and more, the possibilities are endless here.
  • Johnston Park [Bethlehem, PA] This hidden gem in the heart of Bethlehem nestled across from a senior living community shows off with interesting stonework, enormous arched underpasses, and Monocacy Creek. This spot is definitely one for some unique and memorable photos.
  • Bank Street [Easton, PA] For a more urban feel, Bank St. in Easton is the move. Brick roads, tons of texture and art and the cutest creamery are the highlights of this adorable street in downtown Easton.
  • Hansell Park [Doylestown, PA] Moving out of the Lehigh Valley and south into Bucks County we have Hansell Park. Some time on the playground here could be a great way to positively reinforce kids after a job well done at the family photoshoot. Winding, tree-lined pathways, a pond with a bridge and fountain, and a curved wooden amphitheater give this park lots of character and potential.
  • Aquetong Spring Park [New Hope, PA] This one-of-a-kind spot is home to the prettiest blue spring that leads to a small but beautiful waterfall that smells of fresh mint in the summertime. Also at this park you will find an un-inhabited stone house that can serve as an aesthetically pleasing background to photos as well.

This list has been carefully curated to cater to my clients and be within my range of distance that does NOT incur a travel fee. Originally from Lower Bucks County, having spent lots of time in the Poconos and currently residing in Upper Bucks County, I created this list to accommodate people within this span without the added expense of a travel fee. With that being said, I DO travel and love shooting in new locations, especially in/at home so if you have other ideas, PLEASE bring them to my attention! Let’s make your shoot YOURS!!
